Hey Ya’ll! Now that Lincoln is ONE I thought is was finally time to show off his Nursery! I can’t believe it’s survived our rowdy little troublemaker this long. We hope you’ll stop by Project Nursery and leave us some comments and stars. Let me know if you have any questions. I can honestly say a year later we’ve loved this design and it’s really worked well for our family!
It only took me a year to post it, but I’ve finally got my head on straight after all the sleepless nights. So finally, here is L’s Nursery Reveal. Orange, Navy and Gray Woodland Nursery
A Project For: Lincoln
Location: Prattville, AL
As soon I we found out we were expecting, I was so excited to design and make a room for our little man! We love the Orange and Navy combo for good reason – We are Auburn fans. Baby L’s dad (aka hubby) played basketball there back in the good ‘ol days.
I love foxes, raccoon, and woodland creatures, and they are so easy to make cute for a baby, but still modern and fun for the adults using the room.
There are so many wonderful nurseries with gray walls, it’s so neutral and lets everything else in the design pop.
I love water and am naturally drawn to blues. My husband is the modern influence, he loves clean lines! We both love the outdoors. Once our tastes ran together we ended up with the modern, rustic space. We wanted something that would be suitable for L to use for a long time.

I love the watercolor prints that I collected from Etsy. I spoke to all the artists via Etsy convo and they were all so sweet and excited to share their art with me! There are 3 artists, from Italy, United Kingdom, and here is the US.
We love the upholstered daybed. Now that Baby L is ONE, I can honestly say we’ve had our share of nights spent sleeping in whenever a particularly bad night came along… It’s also super functional for guests. When his big sister visits from college she loves sleeping in here with her little bro.
The ikea Hemnes dresser has been the perfect height and so durable! The drawers slide easily and are organized thanks to the drawers sets Ikea also sells.
We love the alphabet poster. Great for talking about during diaper changes ; )
L’s favorite is the bird mobile. He just lights up whenever we reach up and pet one of the birdies. Some of his first giggles came that way, looking up at the birds dance from our touch.
There are exactly 7 million shades of Orange! It was hard to let the oranges vary a little bit around the room. And nothing is the same color orange is person as it is online. So when you live in smalltown USA without even a HomeGoods nearby, it can be hard to find the right Orange to use across your space.
That’s the write up on Project Nursery What’s your favorite part of L’s Nursery?
